Sweet curry sauce is an original recipe I had to improvise after eating it with quinoa at a local vegan restaurant. In all fairness, my own recipe may be better. This is a simple sauce to be poured over cooled quinoa or black rice. It's of course delicious and healthy for you and only uses 3 ingredients.
Ingredients:
3 tsp + 1/8 tsp curry powder
4 tsp agave (or preferred sweetener)
4 tsp olive oil
*Note: Curry powder is not one ingredient but instead a combination of herbs, it is a blend.
Method:
In a very small bowl combine pour in the curry powder. Add the olive oil and maple syrup, mix well. Pour on top of cooled rice or quinoa and stir in gently.
