Mushroom Steak Tips














Ingredients: *
  • 2 Portobello mushrooms
  • 1/2 green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup sweet onion
  • 2 Tbsp grapeseed oil (or avocado oil)
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Method:
  1. Pre-heat oven 350 F.
  2. Remove stems from mushrooms.
  3. Wipe and clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel.
  4. Make small slits over the mushroom (to release its natural juices)
  5. Place mushrooms gills up on baking sheet.
  6. Pour 1 Tbsp. of oil to the gills each mushroom.
  7. Place 1/4 sliced onion on each mushroom and 1/4 cup bell pepper.
  8. Bake for 30-35 min.
  9. Juices will release during baking, it's optional to drain out the juice or save for later during baking.
  10. Once the mushrooms are cooked cut with a sharp knife in steak tip slices.
  11. Eat while hot.
