Fruit Sea Moss Smoothie




This fruit sea moss smoothie can be used with various fruits. One cup of fruits i.e. strawberries or blackberries, nuts (or seeds) and a little sweetener to taste. It's just another way to get sea moss or Irish moss into your system. The taste is smooth and the texture works perfectly when blending the sea moss with the nuts/seeds first.



Ingredients:
  • 1 cup fruit (i.e. cherries, strawberries, blueberries or blackberries, mango) 
  • 2-3 tsp. sea moss powder blend
  • 1 cup spring water
  • 2 Tbsp. walnuts (or other nut or seed i.e. brazil nuts, hempseed, sesame seeds)
  • 1-3 tsp. agave (or 100% pure maple syrup)
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla (optional)

Equipment:
  • Blender

Method:
  1. Blend nuts and sea moss together (without water)
  2. Add 1 cup water, dates, vanilla (if using) and agave
  3. Blend on high until smooth, 1-2 minutes
  4. Add the remaining water and blend for 5 seconds
