Review: Hu Kitchen Chocolate Bars

Whenever I look for chocolate I make check the ingredients and it's always the same; soy lecithin, cane sugar, milk etc. No matter what the cost of the chocolate or how dark of a chocolate, it's the same story of ingredients but Hu chocolate came to change all of that.

Hu Kitchen brags about their chocolate bars because it consists of...
  • no gluten
  • no dairy
  • no refined sugars
  • no GMO's
  • no cane sugars
  • no emulsifiers
  • no sugar alcohols
  • no soy lecithin
A chocolate like this make you wonder what's actually in it. Hu Kitchen has many chocolate bars, and they're all dark chocolate, but if you're not into dark chocolate don't let that throw you off, this chocolate is not like anything you've ever had.  I was skeptical at first because it's a pricey chocolate bar and dark chocolate was the only option, usually dark chocolate is over powering and bitter but not this time. It's sweet enough to want another bite.

Their standard chocolate bar named Simple Dark Chocolate and is the foundation of their chocolate bars, the ingredients are as follows:

Simple Dark Chocolate Bar Ingredients:

Organic cacao, organic unrefined coconut sugar, organic fair-trade cocoa butter.

With those three simple ingredients, Hu Kitchen has made a very impressive chocolate. With that said, the only downsides are the price and the scarcity of the product. I was able to find this product at Sprouts, and Fresh Market. You will have to check your local Whole Foods Market, health stores or shop at hukitchen.com for a taste.
