We use only plant-based substitutes for all your common ingredients such as sugar, wheat and rice. The meal plan includes:

Sea Moss Gel

Sea moss gel can be made from its powder form and used in the kitchen in several ways. In gel form, sea moss can be used as a thickening agent, binding agent and when used correctly it can make baked goods rise in the oven.

Hemp Seed Smoothie

Here's another recipe to get your daily dose of sea moss. As of late I've been substituting my sweeteners for fruits i.e. dates and figs and this smoothie makes it easier to do so. All it takes is your average blender and boiling spring water and the dates/figs will dissolve. Boiling water allows it to blend the dates or figs easier and makes for a smoother smoothie. Hemp seeds are used because they are a good source for omega-3.

It had been years since first making falafels. These falafels came out great and they were easy to make. You don't even have to pre-cook the chickpeas, instead they are left in water for 24 hours to soak up all the water and soften. After that, it's as simple as adding the ingredients into the food processor, chopping up and frying.

Caramelized Onion Pizza

Caramelized Onion Pizza

I made this pizza inspired by a frozen pizza found at my grocery store. In the attempt to make my own I'm able to use the healthier spelt flour and topped it with my own pre-cooked portobello mushrooms and red peppers. You can add any topping you'd like on top of the caramelized onions. You can either pre-cooked the mushrooms and peppers or you can slice them very thick and top the pizza and allow them to bake.

Portobello Burger

The Portobello burger is a simple but that's what makes it so tasteful. In this recipe we will attempt to char the Portobello mushroom with an iron skillet on high but what's really going to give it that barbecue taste is the lightly charred sweet onions and lightly charred spelt bread. The red lettuce is fresh, rinsed and dried. Add yourself some mashed avocado on the bread and a slice of fresh plum tomato for more flavor. Once you bite into this sandwich you will be in awe of how flavorful it is to cook with simple ingredients.
